We’re a family business, and we still do this work ourselves. Fourteen Christmas seasons up the ladders, cutting the wire, learning the hard way which process and products actually last. We’ve made every mistake there is, and somewhere along the way we realized something: this isn’t magic. It’s a repeatable process. Once you know the steps and have the right products in your hands, you can do it too.
Anybody who puts their mind to it can have a beautifully lit home for Christmas, the kind that looks like you hired a pro. You don’t need a crew or years of practice. You need the right gear and someone to show you how.
And it’s worth it. There’s something about pulling into your driveway and seeing your own house lit up, knowing you did that. Your kids will remember it. Your neighbors will notice. That’s what this is really about.

Questions we get a lot.
Can I really do this myself?
Yes. Most of our customers have never hung lights before. Your kit ships as one full length of wire, and our short videos show you how to cut it to fit each run of your house, put the ends on, and hang it so it looks like a pro did it.
What if I measure wrong?
Follow the measuring steps in our planning videos and tap +10% on the footage step. That extra bit of slack is what keeps you from coming up short.
What if a bulb goes out?
Nine times out of ten it’s just loose — tighten it up and it’ll light. These are the same bulbs we’ve used in our own Christmas light installation business for over ten years, and they hold up. If one genuinely fails inside the first year, we’ll send you another at no charge, just let us know. After that, grab one from the Replacement Parts page— and check your box first, you may already have spares from your order.
How long does it take?
A typical front roofline takes an afternoon. Wraparounds run a bit longer, mostly because of ladder moves. Once you get the first install under your belt, next year will be a breeze — you’ll want to add lights, it’s so easy compared to the stuff from the big box stores.
How long do these last?
Commercial-grade bulbs and wire, built for 7 to 10 seasons. UV and usage are what actually wear them out. Put them up in November, take them down in early January, run them 6 to 8 hours a night, and they’ll last you a long while.
